Large Vintage Lladro Bust of Spanish Maja Girl 4668

A large Lladro Bust entitled'Busto Maja' and numbered 4668, being the bust of a Maja Girl from Madrid. Maja was a girl from the lower classes who was noted for her style & dress. This beautiful bust in mint condition shows us the unblemished face of a beautiful girl with shoulder length dark brown hair, a simple pendant decorating her bare neck & shoulders and a pair of light pink roses placed next to her left ear. It is a simple, delicate and entrancing piece.

Originally sculpted by the famous Lladro artist Juan Heurta and was issued between 1970 & 1985. Stands 30 cm in height with a base measuring 21 x 11 cm.
