Lladro Group HN 1445 Springtime in Japan Two Geisha Girls on Bridge

This Lladro group HN1445 is called Springtime in Japan by Salvador Debon is a geisha girl sitting on a wooden bridge over a pond in a Japanese water garden. She is dressed in a kimono and has a large parasol over her right shoulder, casually balanced by her right hand.

Note the position of the parasol handle which goes behind the sitting geishas head and is quite stable when in this position. The parasol handle dismantles and will be packed separately. In her left hand she is holding a flower bud while being presented with a bowl of flowers by the second standing geisha girl. Under the bridge is a water bird, possibly a swan. Pink flower plant at end of bridge has half the topmost.

Please check the integrity of the flowers from the photos. I have not detected any chips, cracks or scratches on this figurine group. The figure group is normally displayed on a wooden felt lined plinth. I do not have this plinth. It displays well on any flat surface.

The group is 33cm(13inch) long, 28cm(11inch) high. The diameter of the parasol is 9.5cm(3.75inch). The total weight of the group is. The photos form part of the description.
