Vintage Zaphir Spain Porcelain Figurine The Flapper Girl Pre Nao / Llladro. This is a vintage Zaphir porcelain figurine, which has a very interesting pedigree for collectors. Zaphir was a brand created by Jose Puche in the late 1970s. Puche was one of the original core sculptors for Lladro, and you can definitely see that influence in the long, elegant lines and the "plunger" style base. The brand eventually evolved into the well-known Nao by Lladro line.
This specific piece is often titled "The Flapper" or "1920s Lady" and is known for its graceful seated pose and the detailed headpiece. The soft, muted color palette and elongated features are hallmarks of high-end Spanish porcelain from the Valencia region. The underside bears the blue Zaphir backstamp, "Made in Spain, " and the "Hecho a Mano" (Handmade) designation. This figurine is in superb vintage condition with no damage noted.
Felt pads have been applied to the base to protect furniture. Please see photos for exact measurements and condition details. View all photos that are provided in the listing. They are part of the description.
